The Sunrice Coly Cook-Off is a popular event where contestants create, prepare and serve a main and dessert dish using at least one Sunrice ingredient; and one other ingredient produced in the local area.
There are three categories:
- Sub junior and junior who will have 60 minutes to prepare their dishes - Open category (16+ years) who will have 75 minutes,
Celebrity Guest Foodie, Rodney Dunn will be our expert judge and will award prizes in the relevant categories.

75 minutes to cook and serve for the Junior and Senior Age groups.
60 minutes to cook and serve for the Sub Junior Age group.
All preparation is to be completed during the allotted time.
Contestants are required to prepare a 2 course meal of a Main and Dessert.
Two serves of each course will need to be plated for tasting and judging.
Present an ingredients list highlighting the use of local products for the Judges.
Provide own gas powered cook top and other cooking equipment, as we have limited power available but a contestants will have access to a small appliance hub (contact organisers for further details)
Clean own area after use and remove all rubbish.
Tables for preparation will be provided.
Teams of 1 or 2 allowed
Registrations cease 5pm, Friday 7th October
Late applications at the discretion of the organiser.
Photos of the event may be used in future advertising and media purposes
